4 tips for a perfect pamper party

When it comes to choosing a birthday party theme it can be quite difficult, especially for young girls who are growing up fast! From older children to teenagers, it can be hard to choose a perfect party that allows them to feel grown up, while still enjoying the fun of youth. So, why not consider a pamper party? This girly theme is adaptable to be fun for all ages. Here's four party planning tips to ensure your pamper party runs smoothly.

1. Prepare activities

If the girls are going to truly pamper themselves then you'll want to make sure you have a selection of activities available. Face masks are cost-effective, fun and make for some pretty funny photographs, so be sure to have that camera ready! You could also create a mini-nail salon with lots of different nail polish colours to choose from. Pick out some fashion magazines too - in true salon style, the girls can look at outfits, makeup trends and hairstyles together.

2. Food and drink

All parties need food and drink, and this is no exception. A light finger buffet is a perfect choice, allowing the girls to pick and choose what they'd like to eat and when. To make them feel even more grown up and glamorous you could even consider making up some 'mocktails' - alcohol free cocktails that are tasty, colourful and complete with paper umbrellas.

3. Music and atmosphere

Consider playing music from a CD or a music channel on the TV for background noise. If possible, set up some mood lighting for a relaxing spa-like experience, or disco lights for a true party atmosphere!

4. Party invitations

It's important to send out birthday party invitations to all guests, prior to the party. Make them extra special by personalising them with the birthday child's name. It's important that the invitations include your desired method of response (phone number, email etc.) and also that the theme of the party is clear, so that they know what to bring and what to expect.
